Diploma in Shariah and Law

Program Details

Introduction

This programmes is to prepare students with scholarly knowledge of shariah to provide a strong first year towards completion of Bachelor of Shariah. With a strong foundation of knowledge , skill, capabilities embedded within it, the programme paves way for student to complete a degree in the area of shariah and law to either practice as a lawyer or as an Islamic Scholar.

Entry Requirement

General Entry Criteria

2 passes in A Level/HSC (At GCE A/L, a pass is considered E and above. HSSC pass is considered C and above.);

OR

Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field;

OR

Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Program approved for the specific Diploma program.

Language Requirement

Minimum “C” grade in GCE O’ level English OR equivalent

OR

Obtain a pass in an equivalent English Language entry exam provided by Villa College
